Not all wild plants are suitable for human consumption. Some can be confused with poisonous lookalikes, while others – once considered harmless – are now known to contain substances that can damage the liver or even be carcinogenic.

With our expert team of experts, you will learn:

How to safely identify wild herb
How to avoid dangerous confusion
Interesting stories and ecological insights about plants

The “green tour” – procedure & locations

Our foraging tours in Berlin start at different easily accessible locations within the city and the surrounding green belt. All meeting points are well connected by public transport. Note: in 2025 the english wild herb tour takes place in Grunewald.

Each tour lasts 3 hours – the perfect length for your first introduction to wild herbs. After the course, you will receive access to additional plant profiles on our website.
